Transfer forum bans

My mate is an ITK at Valencia and says that Silva is coming to us for 24 million + Obertan on loan for 12 months in the other direction.

Should be at carrington for a medical later this afternoon.

BREAKING NEWS SSN: We've just signed Kaka for 45 million! Said he was v unhappy at MADrid

Sky Sports have picked this up. They reckon we've had an £8m + addons bid accepted and the only thing left is to agree personal terms.

Rodwell will be joining us immediately.

Been reliably informed that he's at Carrington atm

..

This is the Blunder we all know and love. He don't take no shit.

If you can't have a bit of fun with transfers on deadline day, when can you have a bit of fun. Those posters who reported those posts should really chill out a bit, and not take the internet so seriously.

Yeah, I personally found those quite funny as it's fairly obvious we're not signing any well-known players.

If it was allowed it would get out of hand, and the caf would turn into a playground. Alot of things are tolerated on this forum which makes it a more of a laugh here, but these type of wums do nothing apart from spoil it for people attempting to have a serious discussion/looking for actual confirmed news.

We have the general forum for fun and wumming.

Aye I understand that completely, but if you look at it in context, it's deadline day, rumours are flying about everywhere, and in and amongst all the posts a few posters are going to try and have a bit of a laugh and claim we're on the verge of signing somebody we're actually not.

If it was a thread made in the middle of February I could understand, but it's not. False announcements are rarely made anyway. And when they are done well, see Spoony's thread, they can be excellent.

They never say confirmed deals and those who look at it will also look at sky sports rumour etc... Which have worse wums than them

So they get banned. It's not a particularly compelling argument to say we shouldn't ban them because someone will always try and be funny.

Any time you like in the general forum.

GB must have been in a good mood because he didn't ban them from the other football forums of infract them or worse. It isn't like it is some sort of secret that WUMing isn't allowed.

It's still annoying though. The Rodwell ones for example looked like there could have actually been something happening.

I'm not one of the ones that complained btw, i personally thought the transfer window had ended yesterday till i saw this post. I'm just saying i can see how the decision is justified.

And it being deadline days makes it worse not better because people are expecting last minute and often unexpected deals. WUMs mean the thread is meaningless because you can't track actual movements.

And Spoony's was to fool the tabloids and not Caftards*

* collateral damage is an unfortunate part of war

Hey Raoul, this has been my first offence. To be fair I wasn't even aware I was committing one. Please revoke my transfer forum ban. Won't happen again. Cheers.

Would you like Fries with that ?

Not going to happen. Next time think twice before spamming the landscape with nonsense.

Agreed, it was stupid of me to get dragged in. But you can check my history haven't done anything like this before. How long will I be serving this?

How can there be a next time if he's still banned? Assuming it is permanent, of course.

My ban was a bit of a misunderstandment. I thought someone deleted my gif as banter, hence me spamming stuff that got deleted. Someone could have told me to stop instead of banning me from the forum. The ban on gifs and memes in the football forums hadn't even been introduced yet.
