Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that he will look to sign women's long-jump Olympic champion Tianna Bartlett and is not interested in pursuing rumoured target Jessica Ennis-Hill. "I am more a manager that likes specialists and not so much the multi-functional players" said Mourinho.
The comments will add to the ongoing saga which began when United snubbed Ennis-Hill by failing to make any inquiries about her availability after she took the silver medal in the heptathlon in Rio. The celebrated athlete appeared to respond in kind when she congratulated the GB women's hockey team on their gold medal, tweeting 'wow' and making no mention of the 20-time league champions' 2-0 defeat of Southampton that same day.
Long-jumper Bartlett is American and thus has most likely never seen a football before and doesn't know the sport's real name. However she has been tipped to break into the United first team in the near future.
Nigeria? Damn, he's probably older than Shweinsteiger anyway.

Called up to train with the 1st team apparently. Might make the bench vs Bristol?
These jokes never get oldNigeria? Damn, he's probably older than Shweinsteiger anyway.
These jokes never get old
About as funny now as it was then.Well the post is over a year old, so yes, the joke is old.

I think so, Jon Obi Mikel should have beenI hope he gets a chance. Would be the first Nigerian to play for us i think?
But thank God he wasn'tI think so, Jon Obi Mikel should have been
Funny thing about opinions, they differ from one person to the next, you may not find it funny but some do.
Let it be grouchy.
Agreed. Some stupid stereotypes regarding African players in general. I winder if the same remarks would be made towards the England u17/u20 players of Nigerian/West African descent? As a Nigerian i do find it a bit offensive. Can't think of a similar stereotype to do with English, but it's like assuming all Mexicans cross the border all because some have done so in the past.
Yeah! Unless he thinks McTominay is KehindeThat article in the OP.

Probably not but then England don't submit players lists like this at major youth tournaments.
To be fair, that's a different country.
I thought we were just talking about Nigeria here, to be honest. Apologies. It's a West African country.
Doubtfully. McTominay is more established, yet we're not really sure whether he would start, given Pogba will play to get match rhythm after the 3 match ban. Pogba is adventous and it's may be too soon for McTominay to hold the midfield on his own. Matic clearly needs a rest. Carrick may play if he is fit, but then McTominay would have played. Even Tuanzebe may start as defensive midfielder if we're prioritize the more mature players to get minutes. This kid, I meant player is way down the list of priority. Will he face Bristol from the start?

Same in Syria, you see in some 3rd world countries parents are late to make birth certificates for kids born from October onwards so they can make their childs dob as 1st of January, I can't remember why, so that list with those dob doesn't prove anything.
