Who´s the most famous footballer you´ve played against/with?
As for myself I played against the 94/95 QPR-side including Les Ferdinand, Ray Wilkins and Trevor Sinclair and I missed a penalty (fecking Roberts) in the dying minutes of the first half when they were 1-0 up (Ferdinand). After the game I asked Sinclair how he felt about facing UNITED at OT in the first round of the PL and he just said: FRIGHTENING
 
Played against Celtic's Valgaeren when we were both 18. Had a big bust-up with him aswell.

He played for the University team (the best in the country) and I played in a team of a big fraternity. They were all fully fit athletes, our team was made up of smokers, drinkers (who struggled to put in a 10-yard sprint) and some half-decent players like myself. Yet, we were 1-0 up at half time (they were completely slaughtered by their manager at half time, we didn't even have one ;) )

Minutes into the second half I was put through and was one on one with the goalkeeper, but JV pulled me back. The 'referee' (a student aswell) was apparently blind and didn't say anything. Minutes later Valgaeren ran past me and I basically kicked him in the groins. He fell and since we played on an artitficial surface his whole leg was skinned ;)

After that, I wisely decided to continue the game on left wing instead of central midfield... <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

The team I used to play for in the Manchester League always used to play a pre-season friendly against Man United's youth side.

I only played in one of those matches but it included: Scholes, Gary & Phil Neville.

I was playing up front and one of Phil's tackles nearly put into next week. We lost 0-7, and I never got a sniff of a chance despite running my heart out :(

I was really pissed off after the game, but now its one of my best footy memories.

no.. other details. why were you there kicking the penalty.. was it in a game or were you also 12 like "26 MAy 1999".

I played volleyball with Eric too, but believe me he was shit at it - as are most Mauritians. ;)

Ive played with a fella whos team are about to get promoted to the swedish premier division.
Ive also played against a couple of lads wo went serious places in other sports, ie hurling.
