Pele and Cruijf were from different eras. Having included Rumminigge and Platini I expected to see Cruijf.

Cruijf stopped playing in the late 70's. Platini and Maradona are 80's players. What are you rambling on?

<a href="http://members.tripod.com/~LauD/career.htm" target="_blank">Cruyff's Career Facts</a>
1947 Born on April 25 in Amsterdam
....
1978 Retired from the national team after helping them qualified for the World Cup in Argentina. Retired from Barcelona and European football.
1979 Return to football but played in the US. First with Los Angeles Aztecs then Washington Diplomats.
1981 Returned to Europe, played for Levante of Spain briefly. Later returned to Ajax for a couple of years then finished his playing days with Feyenoord.
1984 Returned to Ajax as "technical director".
He might "played" with Feyenord until 1984... but he still quit meaningful football in late 70's sunshine.

Meaningful football?? Come on sunshine, what the feck does that mean? He played at the same time Platini and Rummenigge did so there's every chance you could have seen him. Capisce?

forgot boniek, he was class act..
Rossi, Platini and boniek played at OT for Juve, arguebly the best Juve team of all time.

Platini, Zoff, Tardelli, Scirea, Boniek, Cabrini, Rossi, Bettega, Gentile, Brady, Altafini, Bonisegna, Furino... half the Italian team of 82 plus Platini & Boniek. Not bad at all.
Arguably this team's better:
Vieri, Boksic, Zidane, Jugovic, Montero, Deschamps, Conte, Del Piero, Torricelli, Ferrara.

Juve should never have sold Vieri and Boksic, replacing one with Inzaghi was a joke of the decade. Vieri and boksic were powerful strikers(for Juve).. a handful for the best defenders in the world. Without them Juve didn't look as frightening.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Juve had a habit of destroying teams after a winning season. Vialli and Ravanelli were sold after the CL, Boksic and Vieri a year later... stuck with fecking Inzaghi for 3 years. He played well the first year scoring 60 goals with Del Piero, but was shite afterwards.
