Surprised there isn't a thread on this.

Absolutely outstanding game. This series has been great forawhile but this one has just hit all new heights.

I hadn't realised there was a new one out. I'll pick it up in the next few days.

Cheers.

You won't regret it one bit. It's a classic IMO. They've perfected nearly everything. The career mode seems fantastic. Only thing to see is whether the difficulty isn't too easy.

Do note I don't do online gaming so I'm not judging that.

Massive improvement over Top Spin 3. They fixed the fluidity issues where every court played like it was clay and every player moved like Serena. Doubles play is actually bearable now, but I still hate that you can't play more than one event a month in career mode and I also hate the fact that you can be wrong footed easily when changing directions.

The highest difficult has actually been hard for me, I've been getting destroyed  Hard mode is still actually very easy though like it was in 3.

I've sorted the wrong footed thing out. Even if it happens I'm able to change directions pretty easily. Are you getting destroyed on very hard or extreme (or whatever the most difficult one is called)?

Definitely the most impressive of the Top Spin games so far and the nearest to a game of tennis they've come. That said, I did get bored with it after one season and doubt I'll go back to it. Just too repetitive after a while and the curve between the different difficulty settings far too pronounced.

It's Super hard. Closest I've come is breaking the computer while he was serving for the match and taking it to 3 sets. Any tips on fixing getting wrong footed? Might help in making matches closer.

I'm finding very hard fairly comfortAble. Won two masters titles with my character without dropping a set having to play Federer, Murray, djokovic and davidenko along the way.

Only thing I can say is avoid pronounced movement before the ball is hit whenever you can but when you do go one way be prepared to change directions very quickly in case wrong footed. And when it happens play either a slice or a top spin shot to the far side of the court to buy you time.
