starts November 2nd.

can't wait. hope this series is a lot longer than the last one.

jezza testing the zr1 should be epic. as well as all three of the lads out in vietnam for what surely will be a ludicrous challenge.

what are you lads looking forward to?

More old car challenges and another major cross-continental race.

Didn't know it was that soon, brilliant. It may be a familiar formula, Justin, but dammit it's good.

There will be 8 episodes this time around.

Look forward to them. They get up to some crazy stuff.

I hope they dont turn into every show into a race or challenge, sometimes watching them test cars is interesting as well.

Fifth Gear isn`t in the same league naturally but it`s watchable because Tiff Needell is personable enough and very knowledgeable. Vicki looks good in jeans as well.

I don't understand much of the cars part on Top Gear, but it's still hilarious to watch.

Exactly. The girlfriend can just about differentiate between a car and a bus, but even she likes to watch Top Gear. Hopefully not just for Hammond.... :nervous:

It hurts me that it is so painful to bypass the international limits on BBC Iplayer, though for Top Gear it is well worth it.

How do you embed videos I pasted the link in but it doesn't seem to be working?

It amazes me that a person with some 14000 odd posts doesn't know how to embed a youtube video.
Even I know how to do it. Sorry Melvin but this is just outrageous

...not really though, but still....

Cheers!

But most of my 14 000 posts came even before youtube so I do have an excuse!

"Change gear, change gear, check your mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear!"

"Change gear, change gear, check your mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear!"

 That was brilliant. Good first episode, I prefer when they have a challenge sub theme throughout.

Decent first episode. Looking forward to the rest because the trailer for the rest looks great.

The thing im looking forward to most is James May doing a power test!

Good first ep but nothing special, hopefully more to come. Btw Parkinson was the first guest i've really enjoyed

Just seen this on the news

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7707641.stm

Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has prompted more than 500 people to complain to the BBC about a joke he made on Sunday's motoring show.

Clarkson, 48, was taking part in a lorry-driving task, when he joked about lorry drivers killing sex workers.

"Change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day," he said.

The BBC said the joke had made "ridiculous an unfair urban myth".

Goes into further detail. Seriously this worlds gone mad, you can't even joke anymore.

It was 200 complaints earlier. Old farts probably read about it and think 'Ooh goody something new, I was getting bored of complaining about Brand and Wossy!'.

Exactly, old small cocked and big fannied jobsworths. They will never take Clarkson down anyway, some of the stuff he writes in his newspaper column is 20 times worse than that joke.
