And contract situation, I believe. Not the worst one of these totally pointless lists I've ever seen in fairness. Few names stand out but they seem to have taken into account age, club, likelihood of leaving etc.
Well, Willian is also more worth than Thomas Müller despite being one year older and having one year less on his contract.Oh and Modric not even top 50. Less valuable than Willian and Welbeck.
I've no idea what those guys do, but I really hope they don't get paid for it. It doesn't make the slightest bit of sense. The study has been carried out by a team of statisticians at the Football Observatory, a research group in the International Centre for Sports Studies which was founded in 1995 as a joint-venture between FIFA and the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. The Football Observatory itself was established in 2005 and has undertaken research for both FIFA and UEFA.
Herrera isn't even on the list despite being a lot better than Henderson. Henderson has like 1 year on his contract I think while Herrera probably 4 or somethingAnd contract situation, I believe.

Also Oscar seems ridiculously high up at £38m.
The reason they gave is because Hazard is younger and because he has a longer contract. Makes sense, but that also makes the list a bit pointless from the fans' prospective, as they usually just want to know who is better, not who has the longest contract.2. Eden Hazard (Chelsea) £109m
3. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) £92m
Just realised Modric isn't even on the list.... while Oscar is at place 19...
Seems legit.15. Harry Kane (Tottenham) £43m
16. Gareth Bale (Real Madrid) £41m
27 in 35 for atletico in 2013-14Diego Costa´s rating as one of the 10 most valuable footballerrs is truly bizarre. They value him at 72M and Alaba at 29M. Would any sane person take him over Alaba? 90 goals in 220 games. Over the same timeframe Lewandowski has scored 123 in 220 games.
