"A man may fight for many things: his country, his principles, his friends, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mudwrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a stack of French porn."

Richie and Eddie
Trigger
Alan partridge
Vyvyan
Brian Potter
Edward and Tubbs
Pub Landlord Al Murray
Victor Meldrew
Harry Enfield Slobs
Father Dougal / Father jack / Father Ted
Dwayne Dibley or whatever it is

Has to be Richard Richard and Edward Hitler

Michael Richards was probably better, in hindsight, after Larry David took his character to a whole new level with Curb. You can see traces of Richard Lewis too in George Costanza
You got that mixed up. Larry is more like George with some Kramer thrown in.

From the top of my head: Bernard Black, Basil Fawlty, any role played by Chris Morris, Grev Malcolm in Sommarnattens Leende (Bergman), Dr. Strangelove.
