Alright Caf, which movies did you enjoy the most this year? ( Bear in mind I have not seen The Revenant, Hateful Eight, Steve Jobs or Bridge of Spies yet).

1. Star Wars - The Force Awakens
2. The Martian
3. Creed
4. Mission impossible - Rogue nation
5. Kingsman
6. Mad Max Fury road.
7. Ex Machina
8. Sicario
9. Inside out
10. Southpaw

Watched Creed last night but the ending pissed me off no end.
A scouser winning in the last second? Ugh.

If Whiplash is a 2015 release, it would make my top 3. I thought Whiplash was released last year :nervous:

Because a lot of people probably got the torrent they forget that in the UK it was actually 2015 January release. I myself forgot that until my friend reminded me.

Whiplash was definitely 2014 in Ireland - I'm fairly sure I saw it in November. Was released in mid-January in the UK though.

1. Carol
2. Spotlight
3. Sicario
4. Slow West
5. The Lobster
6. Aferim!
7. Mad Max: Fury Road
8. Far from the Madding Crowd
9. The Hateful Eight
10. Beasts of No Nation

Felt like a ton of stuff that I mostly enjoyed watching, or at least felt worth the time (also Kingsman, Room, Star Wars, Ex Machina, The Revenant), but nothing that I really loved. Great year for documentaries.

1) Mad Max
2) SW: TFA
3) Ex Machina
4) Sicario
5) Kingsman
6) Antman
7) Avengers: Age of Ultron
8) Bridge of Spies

I can't come up with more than these 8. I haven't yet seen The Lobster, Spotlight, and the Big short.

Big disappointments were The Revenant and Hateful Eight, and I thought Creed, The Martian, Southpaw, and Steve Jobs were quite decent.

1. Mad Max
2. Martian

seriously, can't think of anything else. And I think that I saw Whiplash more than a year ago? :wenger:

Have high hopes for The Lobster and Youth though

I have no idea why anybody likes Sicario. It's shite. Emily Blunt is the least believable action star in history.

Inside Out was the best movie I saw in 2015.

She's not really an action star in that movie though. She's in over her head and doesn't understand what's going on for almost the whole movie, then at the end she gets punked out by Benicio Del Toro.

My ranking for this year:

1. The Martian
2. Kingsman
3. Room
4. Bone Tomahawk
5. Creed
6. The End Of The Tour
7. Age Of Ultron
8. Reults
9. What We Do In The Shadows
10. Tomorrowland

I also liked Mission Impossible 5, Sicario, Bridge Of Spies, Ex Machina, The Big Short, and Star Wars VII.

The Hateful Eight was disappointing, Ant-Man and Jurassic World were fun but not great, Mad Max was wildly overrated, and I couldn't be arsed finishing Carol. Haven't seen Spotlight.
