Too many threads disintegrating

How many times are we seeing it now that a thread blows up into a war between FC and Manchester United fans!!

Its so easy give them their own forum to discuss FC topics
and ban anyone that gives them abuse in that forum
likewise ban anyone that starts any shit in the Manchester United Forum
I look at threads and think how i would like to comment on that!
and before i can start typing its gone into overdrive
Its a shame,i know people love to argue and i will give and take it with
anyone.

some people probably disagree and enjoy giving it out about whats right and whats wrong with FC ,i dont give a toss either way

Then again maybe FC will get their own forum on their own server,
but some people still want to discuss it here

ah well just thought i would give you my ha'pennies
 
The idea of the forum is to discuss things.

If we're only going to allow people to post when they all agree with each other, what's the point?

Muppets are muppets, change the subject, and they're still muppets

I'd give them their own subforum in the United forum, just like the cricket one in the other sports.
 
Say, why don't we name the forums after players/ex-players/management?

Eric Cantona Manchester United Forum
Dennis Law Football Forum
David Beckham Transfer Forum (I'd suggest Obi, but he doesn't qualify)

George Best General Chat
Roy Keane Current Events
Gary Neville Other Sports Forum

Rio Ferdinand Sites and Announcements
Mikael Silvestre Poll Discussions
Cristiano Ronaldo Video forum
Duncan Edwards Classics

:nono: The ultra secret mod forum has it's name changed every week to protect its identity. Usually we opt for the name of the user most likely to be banned this week.

Anyway, just popping off to the Ern to see what else is going on :p
