Too many people judge players upon Championship Manager stats...

I never pick players from CM, just because I think Andrei Sigpursson is the best striker in the world is does not prove otherwise!

Hmmmmmmmmm I think you have a very good point. Many people do it. I think that the game is great for getting to know other teams etc - but as far as performance is concerned I wouldn't take it any further than the inside of my tower box.

..............but in saying that, 3 years ago they predicted Saviola would be a star. I recall buying him and Martin Palermo. The both of them scored so many goals for me it wasn't right. Also, this years CM, Ruud scored 49 goals for me ! ;)

Couple of "seasons" ago, he scored 60 goals in 66 games for me! Cisse is great too.

Well, thats probaly right, but afterall I think that people know that CM is not that exactly, although the polish manager says its a good game for future managers...
 
Well, I do the stats for Reading FC of Division Two so you will just have to take my word on things to be gospel.
 
it's ok to talk abt CM and discussed abt players there IMO ... in fact I think it give a very good look on some less known legs ( if they are being properly covered ) ... I recalled a number of years ago I had already snapped up Chivu while scrolling Romanian U21 team .. and you know who HE IS today !!

But it make no sense to spot some guy and shout for 10mil. to buy a 18yr-old youngster for Man Utd !! ... that's a bit rediculous and "dreaming" !!
 
I didnt know Aghahowa was a real player.But he is a great player in reality too.His goal (gesture) is very special.He makes 6 backspin flips.
 
CM andgames like it are fantasy madness and dare I say it heaven. I bought Ronaldo and he scored 95 goals for me in one season. Including 6 in the first half against Liverpool at Anfield on the last day of the season. See what I mean................. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
 
Candona has just said what I say every time I see a Kallstrom, Cisse, Emerton etc thread.
