Too many muppets...

It's normal after such kind of defeat. Every fans are unhappy and the forum is a place for them to express their frustration. The only difference is that some fans express their anger by flaming the players and the managers, while the others by flaming other fellow fans.

How many fans on here know how it feels to support a mediocre team? or even a shit team like we were in the early 70s? I look back at those days with pride.

I don't remember the 70's, cause i wasn't born until 77, but i remember Fergies first game in charge, or Big Rons last. Losing to Oxford and looking like we were a 2nd division team already

I also remember the time we are mediocre. But then, we can't live in the past. With the fame and quality of current players and the wages they are receiving, it's totally fair to expect they can do better than mediocre.

Muppetsville this place is becoming.

And uranuski, mediocre is way over the top.

We ain't mediocre, we have a world class squad of players who just aren't performing to their full potential at the moment. Perhaps SAF should start throwing those tea cups around the dressing room again, i feel a little motivation is all that is required.

If I were a scouser and ABU or Caadian Dee/Runited or one of the other doomsayers then there is an obvious retort.

First person to make it should be banned ;)

I remember the seventies, and Dennis Law scoring the goal that doomed us to 2nd division football. He did'nt celebrate he was not happy. But we came straight back up the following seaon and had the biggest gates in the whole League even though we were not in the top flight :D

How long before the clueless, ABUs and scousers get a visit from the muppet fairy Blythy?

I agree with you dans

Fergie felt like leaving the dressing room door open so the fans could tell them how shite we were

This is obviously forbidden on a forum

I'm not Italian. If only Veron was, then he'd never have come.

Some on here might get upset with the manager having a go at our players. I wonder how they've taken this news?

Sorry Davo. Since you are now a part-timer you are only allowed in the general forum so that the standard can be maintained (for want of a better term) ;)

I'm not sure we do. We certainly have an able squad.

I hate to ask, but just how many of our squad would make it into the Real Madrid starting 11?

This is a funny question as many of our players are well out of form, but: Ruud, Keane, Giggs (when on form - feck, they still play McManaman), Rio and O'Shea. Some people say our defence is bad, theirs is shite.

Perhaps I should have been less specific. Just how many of our squad would make it into a World 22?

My thoughts exactly Giggzy.

Not exactly what I'd call a world class squad we've got at the moment.

I don't think Scholes would get in. If you had a choice between four CMs in the world, we wouldn't have two of thm, only Keane IMO.

The four World 22 CMs:

Keane
Zidane
Viera
Totti ;)
