The French press says he's a star in the US, is it true ? I've also read that Thierry Henry, fan of basket-ball, had spent one week in America to attend his games.

He's had an excellent year with the San Antonio Spurs. Looks like he might lead them to the championship this week.

Parker has outplayed Jason Kidd, one of the best players in the NBA in 2 of the 3 championship games so far. Prior to the series there had been reports that Kidd might move to San Antonio and take Parker's position, which probably won't happen now.

I don't think that Parker's a star yet, but he's well on his way to becoming one.

good lad that parker, but the best european nba player plays in dallas ...

whats the story with parker anyway? born in belgium, french nationality and an english name?

Parker is a good player, but not a star.

Dirk or Peja are the two best Europeans in the NBA.

His father was an American basket player who played in French clubs, his mother a model from the Netherlands. He was born in Bruges but was brought up in France, where his father had settled down.
