Wow, that is a surprise. Seemed healthy till only last year.
RIP I grew up listening to his commentary, always added excitement to the game.
Awww. RIP. One of my favorite commentators.
Got the big C. Saw a few months ago he gave a very intimate interview saying it's another battle in life and he'll hit it head on. His demeanor and some of the interviews of the other 9 comms and it looked bleak.
RIP to the man. An iconic figure of Aus cricket broadcasting.
Didnt have the pleasure of watching him play but always enjoyed his commentary. He tried to be as unbiased as could be and really brought about a lot of excitement into the game with the way the pitch of his voice would change everytime something good happened on the field..

RIP. Fantastic commentator.
RIP Tony. Will make the Sydney test hard to watch. Fantastic commentator and it will be sad not to hear his voice calling the cricket again. Him and Bill Lawry were like chalk and cheese in terms of persona's but together, they were superb.
RIP was a good player and a cracking commentator, will be missed.
