Tommy Rowe | Our new U21s player/coach

I kind of get the logic, but is having a 30+ year old ex pro on the pitch not taking development opportunity away from the kids? Most learning obtained from playing?

Steady hand and experience comes with great benefits for inexperience or something.

Yeah and on the pitch young players need someone to actually be out there talking them through games.

One older player isn't going to take all that much time away from others.

Yup. And the harsh reality of underage football is that everyone involved know a bunch of players are just making up numbers and have essentially zero chance of ever making it at the club. These player managers will never take minutes from any of he youngsters who have a chance of making it.

I don't remember Tommy Rowe at all. Where's McShane at these days?

Christ Eagles need to join the coaching staffs as well. He's got a sick mohawk back in the days.
