1) Who will leave?
VanderGouw, May, Woolwork, Irwin and Yorke.
2) Who will join?
Landreau, Nesta, Tudor, D'Allesandro
3)
4) How do we strengthen the squad?
By getting two strong centerbacks i.e Tudor and Nesta, Leaving Giggs upfront with Van "the man" with D'allesandro taking over his role on the left. With this we won't need to replace Yorke.

Your prediction for the summer transfer was spot on in my view however the only disagrement i would have would be wether D'allesandro would end up another veron, meaning could he play well in the team and adapt to the style of play and leage, personally after watching him a douzen times i think no, but think about him and veron in the same midfield with giggsy up front with van the man, this would lead to ole on bench but i think it could work. How about selling veron for 25 mill 30 mill off board(dreaming) and using that to buy a huge range of players maybe 5-6

Veron has just had a bad season similar to
Scholes. It is not reason enough to sell him. If he puts in more performances like that that against Deporivo more often he will be our best players.
About our squad anyway I expect Fergie to have lots of cash to spend because lots of guys are retiring and fringe players of little quality like fortune are leaving. And we nned to match Arsenal'strength in depth which we haven'y had since 99,

For D'allesandro, I do not think his presnce would lead to Ole being on the bench often. Just away from home in Europe. At places like Anfield, Elland Road and Hibury in the Prem and against Bayern or Real Madrid. Otherwise Ole would keep his place in th esquad unlike if we brought in a DiCanio/Crespo or even Rivaldo! ;)

D'Allesandro would be worthy of the #9 shirt and be a quality backup to Becks and Giggs (for less than 24 months though). If he arrives, I imagine one of the following players would be sold: Scholes, Veron, Butt.

Giggs place in the lineup could be in doubt within 12-24 months depending on D'Allesandro's ability to play LW. I think he is more suited as an attacking RW, which would give United two attacking wingers with Giggs on the left. This would then force Beckham to CM where I think he could be better than Zidane. However, if that happens, then one of the two remaining MFs (Butt, Scholes, Veron) would be sold within 2 years.

D'Allesandro is a joy to watch, prefectly weighted passes, and very incisive passing, and being slightly built and quite nippy can slip past. But as many say he is too lightweight for the prem, and laidback- I don't see him being much of an influence when his team are without the ball.
