To become a dominating and winning team. United shall have a build a strong central spine. And what is a central spine?
A central spine is a central line in the team. Start from a GK, CB, CM and CF. So which players will i recommend to United to build the team around?

+ First CB : Lisandro Martinez. A true leader and a future potential candidate. And where United might start most of their attack from. Where most of the team attack will build and start from:
In this video it will show it why:

Lisandro Martinez is really good with the long and trough passes. Having a really good, quick and sharp finisher/CF will rise your team end up product ability.

Now we move next in the central line. The CM. The mind and brain of the team. And here have United and Ten Hag been linked with both De Jong and Eriksen. And i vote for those 2 players too. Theirs creative ability are really high.
Let us take a closer of them with visual description. But only De Jong. Because of his age. Eriksen is 30 now.

+ Frenkie De Jong. The Mind and brain of the team. Beside others creative mind in Eriksen and Bruno

+ Then at the end of the central spine. A top level CF. They guy and player to finish and end what the CB and CM players start and create. The name is Patrick Schick. This boy is more than a really good finish and goalscorer. His overall skill ability and link up playing is really high and good. We take a closer look of that in this video:

That is solid, consist and strong Central Spine United and Ten Hag shall build his team around. Get them and United will have a strong and dominating team in the next 4-5 years and more.

Now let we take a closer look of theirs age and MV:

+ Lisandro Martinez. 18. January.1998. 24 years age. MV = 32 mill euros
+ Frenkie De Jong. 12.May.1997. 25 years age. MV = 60 mill euros
+ Patrick Schick. 24.January.1996. 26 years age. MV = 50 mill euros

And if you adding with a local boy Marcus Rashford. Who i still believe have a really high level too. Depend on the arriving of De Jong, Eriksen and Martinez. And with Ten Hag guidance. I am 100 % convince Rashford and United players, special attacking players will lift their performance.
Special Rashford. 31.October.1997. 25 this year later.

Sum up the Central Spine line:

CB = Martinez + CM = The creative and minds of the team = De Jong and Bruno + CF = The finisher of the build up from Martinez = Schick and Rashford.

Martinez ---------De Jong+ Bruno+ Eriksen -----------Schick & Rashford

Sometime Directly from Martinez ---------- over the midfield--------long and trough ball -----------> the finisher of the build up and starter of the attack = Schick & Rashford

And in the end. How do we line up this central spine. I only name this players in theirs best positions. Not fullback and wingers. In a 4312 formation. I think and believe United and Ten Hag will get the best out of 4312 formation in most of the matches this season. Like this:

RB - Varane - Martinez CB - LB +
Eriksen RCN - De Jong/Fred/Garner DCM - De Jong LCM +
Bruno AMC + Schick - Rashford CF

There you have. All of the boys mention to build the team around. The Central Spine. Are around the age of 24, 25 and 26. Get them. Build the team around them. Let them get and understand each others. The way they think and play football. I think and believe United will have a strong, solid and dominate team in the next 4-5 years and more.

United and Ten Hag have been linked with the names mentioned above. Martinez, De Jong and Eriksen. If United and Ten Hag. Get a top CF up there. Who will finish what those boys and teammates behind him. Finish and end the attack. Build up and start from them. In the goal. In Patrick Schick and Rashford. A top high level from start to finish. Then i believe United and Ten Hag are on theirs of building a strong, conistent and really good attacking team.

Mine best tips, guidance and recommendation. Build the team around a strong, solid and consistent Central Spine mentioned above ;)

Basically , you need a functional midfield and a forward who can finish chances to be a successful team ? Thanks for letting us know.

Sancho is our most talented player and you've ignored him in favour of three shiney new toys. And Rashford.

Rashford.

My favourite is where the OP says "to sum up the central spine" before giving another essay about the central spine.

It's like an AI bot has been unleashed onto us.
Thats not fair. As I said in another thread, he is an actual scout, not some random wum. I believe he actually puts in the effort to assess those players, before eventually signing them on FM. Just because he isn't paid for his work, doesn't make him any lesser than his peers.

I think what the OP is trying to say is that we need a Central Spine.

Not really. He's exceptionally talented. Who do you consider to be that?
I don’t consider him to be exceptionally talented at all although I’m aware people on here rate him highly. Rashford and Martial have both been absolute shite but in terms of natural ability I think they dwarf Sancho. Shaw too, although it gets a bit tricky when you compare attackers and defenders.

If Sancho is our most talented player we’re more fecked than I previously thought.
That's a little harsh and unfair, we know he's capable of dribbling past people, how many times a game do we even put our dribblers in 1v1 situations against the opposition fullbacks? Distinctly remember the Villareal game where Dalot was absolutely rinsed by their left winger, in the first half alone he was 1v1 with Dalot like 4-5 times.
Compare that to Mahrez Sterling Salah, when the midfield is capable of quick passing and moving players from their positions, wingers do get space and have fullbacks back peddling. We haven't seen the best of Sancho, far from it.

Who'd have thought we need an upgrade of defense, midfield and striker in order to improve!?

Crazy out of the box thinking!

Schick won't go now for less than 70 million euros, he's just signed a new contract a month ago!!

Yeah, shame about that. If he proved that he could stay fit for at least one full season he would still be worth it. Perfect player for Ten Haag. A Complete striker who likes to work hard.

Here's a fellow who is trying to give his thoughts about the current state of the club, and immediately he's being met with condescending and degrading comments. If you don't like it, why don't you just move along to another discussion? feck me it's toxic in here.

I could be complletely off the mark, as I obviously didn't watch him as much as OP, but he seems like a budget Werner. Works hard but no bottle in front of goal.

You might actually get your wish, we've been strongly linked to all those players apart from Schick. Don't know anything about this guy though, never seen him play.

Personally I'd love to see João Felix up front, love watching him play. I'd tune in just to watch him

Martial, I understand. His close control when he burst on the scene was special as was his conversion rate. Intensity and mentality aside, he is definitely one of the most talented of the post SAF era.

While I think he was a good player at his best, what do you think are Rashford's exceptional qualities? And in what way does in natural talent dwarf that of Sancho's?

Add Bazunu in goal and that wouldn't be a bad central spine, comfortable on the ball and dominant in the box. Can't wait to see how he gets on at Southampton this year..

Not sure about Schick though. Maybe someone like David might be a better fit.

He’s physically superior to Sancho in every way. He’s far quicker, stronger, more explosive and just a better athlete in general. In terms of technique he is (was?) great at beating players 1v1 and much better at it than Sancho, he’s one of the purest ball strikers in the world which he used to use to both shoot and pass (remember his assist to Greenwood in the cup vs Liverpool? That’s genuinely one of the best passes I’ve ever seen) and he’s more skilful/entertaining too if that counts for anything. Sancho is much better in tight spaces I’ll give him that, but that’s not as important for a goalscoring wide forward.

Should add I’m obviously talking about Rashford at his best and not the current half arsed version because people on here seem to be frothing at the mouth to shut down any praise of him.

I think Luckyscout should write match reviews after every game next season. Posters are not allowed to post on the Caf until they've read his match analysis.

Make it happen

Feels like LuckyScout watches some players on YouTube, gets so excited about them and fits them into multiple threads. Today it’s about Schick.
I felt he finds these players on FM. I mean I do it sometimes. :nervous:

Not just today mate, he's been banging about Schick since the last 1 or 2 weeks I think.

The problem with Schick is he is clearly going nowhere this summer. I rate him, he looked really good for the Czechs.
