Time to get Vieira and Henry?

What with the massive debts Arsenal are facing (expected to be as much as £60 million) it doesn't look like Arsenal will be buying big this summer.

Pires is less than impressed.

They could be very vulnerable to offers - especially significant bids for Vieira and Henry. As Robert Pires has stated, their contracts are up in the next two years and they must be concerned at the ability of Arsenal to compete with the best in Europe.

Lord knows how much ive said this. Arsenal have spent all this time building a team to try ( ) and match us, they have a spine of a team, that is, Campbell, Vieira, and Henry.

They are not going to sell 2 of their best and biggest players that theyve nutured to compete with us, let alone sell them to US!, that would deplete them, and strengthen us, making - all their work, outcome = sod all.

They will sell squad players like Lauren, Parlour, Tore possibly, maybe even Bergkamp.

And if in the small instance that Henry or Vieira goes, it will be abroard, not to one of their league rivals.

Id love to be wrong but im 99.9999999999% certain.

Vierra yes. Henry no. Undoubtedly talented & quick but yet again this season he's gone missing when Arsenal really needed him. After he hit the post on Sunday he gave up.

In any case, there's no chance of Arsenal selling either player to United.

Here at man utd, we go by players who have the passion to play for us, players who won't leave us once they might get a better contract elsewhere.

Idiot I was referring to the previous argument which stated that we cannot buy Viera and Henry.
Professional football is all about money. The sporting aspect went out of the game years ago.Today its all about money with only the richest clubs able to splash out on top players and compete for the highest honours.Thats the general trend in World Football today which i was referring.
