Is it really picky about shots? I thought 07 was brilliant, but 08 was crap in all honestly.

its a pretty good game
online mode is really good an taks half the time it used to, as you can play your shots simulataneously
gameface much improved this year
worst part is the utterly ridiculous clothes which add the best stats eg a rabbit costume, or a space suit

I bought this game and really like it. I had Tiger 07 (didn't get 08) and this feels a lot more polished and involving.
It feels less picky about shots than 07 - if you are slightly off on your swing, you don't seem to be as punished as you were on 07. Also the putting is more realistic now.
Haven't tried an online game yet - want to improve my golfer first - but will be up for a round with anyone here who owns it...

I would get it for 360.
Im going to get "pure" as well when im out today, had a promotional copy I had to give back, and I really enjoyed it. Plus, tis £30, no bad for a full game.

I used to get the PC games every year but stopped around 07 because they weren't really getting any better.

I buy cross platform games on the 360 as I prefer the pad
How do you set it up to play a round against the computer?

Sorry mate, I decided against getting it. On 08 you selected quick play, then just changed the controller icon to CPU.

i may actually get this, have never got any previous versions, is it entertaining to play or will i get bored after an hour?
Will someone who has absolutely no knowledge and has never enjoyed watching or playing golf, enjoy this game?
