Thuram

Should we spend more than 15m to buy him, a 30-year old RB--not a CB we really need?

NO!
I do not want him!
a 25m Nesta is better,
or a 15m Hofland is more worth!

He's probably the lesser value for money, although unlike the other 2, an almost certain success.

no doubt that he is a class CB or even a RB.
But at 30...and £15m asking price...not exactly a bagain...of course not one for the future.
Maybe he still has 5 years left in him (like Blanc)

Our whole squad can’t be based around the future, we need some experience to bring the younger players on. If we lose Blanc, along with Johnsen, Irwin & RVG than that’s a lot of experience gone so I would say Thuram at £15 million is not that mad a bargain. He is super fit, strong, fast and we could get 5 good years service out of him, I would say if it means a few more titles and a coupe of CL medals then £15 will be a worthwhile investment!!!

£15 would indeed be a worthwile investment. If you can get them down to a tenner, then you can spend the rest on a fish supper.
