Thuram

Hi guys,
The Thuram to United thing seems to be comming out again as we near the close-season. Whilst there is no disputing that he's a quality defender, does the fact that he's 30 (ish??) worry anyone if we were to spend 10-20 mill on him? Can he really be seen as a long term replacement for Blanc or Stam depending on which way you look at it.
Also with Finnan supposedly being looked at with a view to moving Gaz into Central Defence, with Brown and O'Shea do we really need to spend big money, although I must say I'd love to see Ayala join since I feel he is just sheer class.
But hey, these rumours I expect are absolutely nothing more than that and I shouldn't have wasted my time thinking about them.
Anyway thanx for your opinions.

Thuram would be a great signing if we were to get him for around £15 million and if we could pair him up with Ayala it would mean we would the solid of all solid defences.

It's going to take a hell of a lot of negotiation to pull that one off though...hopefully SAF can do it, without having to give up too much...
