Thuram Wants to come to United

Lilan Thurams Agent spoke today and Said That Lilan Thuram is currently unhappy wth his role at the club and wants to be played in the center of defence rather than the right. But the club overruled and has told him to stay were he is currently playing because P.Montero and tudor play in center. United are interested is signing him and i think they might sign him.

Anyone got any thoughts other than insluting me?
 
I doubt that we kept Blanc as cover.
 
thuram is a great player but he'll cost a few bob and he's 30. after spending 30mil on rio i dont think it's worth it. besides, o'shea is the future!

i think if we're gonna buy it's got to be a left back and/or another striker.
 
He has to live and regret it IMO ... no way we gonna have him now I think ...
To especially see the financial part of it .. . it looks much more convincing for me if any team needing a CB now to go for 7.5mil Gallas then a 20mil old horse ... With the cheaper one probably heading into the French national team very soon while the Xpensive one leaving not too long in the future ...

Him and is agent can want all they like, but he is not coming to OT! He turned down the chance before, so let him stew! :D
 
Yeah, it's very likely we're going to spend £45M+ on defenders in one summer. :rolleyes:

If we are buying it'll be a forward.
 
Thuram looked woeful in the centre in the WC & Escude is a much better deal at LB IMO....Thuram won't be coming to OT.....With Disco gone, albeit for pennies, we should snap up Escude & dig deep for a decent 4th striker....

I thought Juve used Tudor in the center of midfield for his physical presence...
 
Too old for the money he would cost,besides he had his chance,he was unenthusiastic;Manchester Utd want players who would die to play for the club,Manchester Utd are never second best,never.

He can come if he wants but the CB berth is filled with Rio, Larry, Wes and O'Shea....we may need cover at RB (and LB), however.....ooops! Thats his problem at Juve.....

Thats crap, Shearer turned us down twice. Blanc turned us down God knows how many times and only came because he couldn't get his game anywhere else. Thuram had his chance and didn't take it (of which I am glad) and we have OShea/Wes and they should be given the chance to show what they can do(O'Shea should anyway as we've all seen Wes). We do need another LB and Escude seems to be the best around in the price range we are looking at plus he's young and we could potentially be putting together a defence that will be together for the next 10 years.
