Three bands/acts for a Desert Island Sabbatical

So you are about to be abandoned on a desert island and have to pick the songs from three artists to take with you, what you take?

For me it is fairly easy:

1 – Genesis
2 – Pink Floyd
3 – David Bowie



PS – The records will be on an iPod so you can’t take a girl bands records so you have a wank bank of CD covers.

Hank Williams - No one does loneliness better. Quintessential sunrise/sunset music.

Grandaddy - Loads of superb nature songs. Very atmospheric.

Sonic Youth - Perfect for wild boar hunting. On a skateboard.
