In my profile there is an option, which displays "List subscription" but there are no threads listed there. I wonder what is the use of this option and how we use it.

Basically once you subscribe to a thread you get emails when there's new posts in said thread
You can subscribe to threads via the thread tools

I do the same, but i turn the email notification off and just check my UserCP of the recent posts from the threads I've subscribed to.
