Obertans #1 fan.
Just seen this. Very decent film. Solid 7 out of 10.

Looking forward to see how the Avengers film will work next year. This went some way to dispelling my fears.

I saw it earlier too, very decent. Been expecting it to suck but was pleasantly surprised. Fun action film.

I'm disappointed they didn't use any amon amarth songs for the film but I'm still looking forward to seeing it

"All brave men with hearts of war ride the path of mighty Thor!"

I thought they were scraping the bottom of the barrel with Ironman.

WP what do you think of the new Green Lantern trailer? As a reader of the comics I'm actively boycotting the movie as the trailer just looks awful.

I think it looks rubbish and that nobody will go and see it.

The Green Lantern comics are a very good read! But they've got Ryan Reynolds playing Hal Jordan (the main Green Lantern) and he's playing it just like every other character he does from the looks of things. Also the CGI looks terrible.

It's just not a viable movie property surely?

They're basically alien police, that sounds like the kind of thing you can make into a movie to me.

Still though, Ryan Reynolds. Blake Lively.

As comic book films go, Thor was a pretty good film. The portal reminded me of Super Mario Galaxy and the road leading to the portal reminded me of the Rainbow Road from Super Mario Kart.
If you watch it, stay until after the credits!

I enjoyed it.

What happens after the credits? I left then :(

A big message flagged up, "Thor Will Return In The Avengers"
Then we see Erik Selvig talking to Nick Fury in a strange basement/warehouse place. Nick opens a briefcase and shows a cube (Cosmic Cube?) similar to the Transformers' all spark. He explains it is a source of great power.
We then see Loki in a reflection on a window and he appears to be in control of Erik Selvig, he mutters some words which are repeated by Dr Selvig.

Are they running out of super heroes yet?

I tried to respond to you by posting the characters Stan Lee created/co-created. The post was to big that the caf didn't allow it. There have been even more characters created that were no Stans. Needle in a thousand haystacks.

Bit of a cheesefest but it was enjoyable enough.

Don't like the idea of this Avengers thing though. The way they were setting it up in this was already cringeworthy.

enjoyed thor alot more than ironman and hulk

his 4 "Friends" were just wrong though.

Shit movie. Natalie Portman is horrible in it. Expected a bit going in as a couple of friends said it's good, but I found it to be very ordinary.
