Assistant manager Phil Thompson and midfielder Danny Murphy have been named Barclaycard Premiership Manager and Player of the Month for November.
Thompson was rewarded for his Premiership achievements during November which saw Liverpool take seven points from a possible nine, including the fantastic 3-1 home victory over Manchester United, and immediately dedicated the award to Gerard Houllier.
Murphy meanwhile was in inspired form during the month, which saw him winning his first England cap as a substitute in England's 1-1 draw with Sweden at Old Trafford.
The news comes as something of a relief after Thompson was falsely reported to have scooped October's award, which instead went to Spurs chief Glenn Hoddle.
Thompson was told of his honour on Friday, and The Reds buried the myth of the curse which affects those managers named as the recipient of the award as Liverpool beat Derby 1-0 on Saturday.
