So 2 minutes into Intercontinental Title match they go & have a 5 minute advert... grrr

AEW Rampage was good. So happy for...
Jamie Hayter. Rumour was that she was going to go to NXT UK like Bea Priestley, but coming right in to be with Britt Baker one of AEW's biggest stars is a great spot for her. She's got in incredible shape over lockdown. Only sad part is she wont be at Rev Pro where she was recently womens champion, one of my more local wrestling promotions. So I wont get to meet her

Rampage was great. I dont remember Jericho shouting as much on commentary as he did last night, when he did the Dynamite stuff during lockdown 2020.

Not gonna lie, for a split second I was thinking she looked like Becky lynch. And from looking online, im glad I wasnt the only one

Really enjoyed Rampage. Definitely got room in the schedule for another one hour show focussed on 2-3 big matches, with Dynamite doing most of the storyline progression.

I like Britt as a true tweener. Big babyface in front of her hometown, but still a heel.

Hayter stood out in AEW’s early days as one of the more interesting women they had. She’s had an incredible transformation over the last 18 months. She should be a good get.

Think where once upon time Charlotte was a WWE lifer, now I'd be shocked if she didn't jump ship when her contracts up.

Think regardless of backstage politics and opinions on direction, wrestling on TNT on a major show might be something she didn't realise was on her bucket list, until now.

She missed advertised show appearance Saturday, to go instead and watch AAA in Mexico apparently

Yeah she'll be off as soon as she can be.

Will be a big one too because it'll be the first time that a WWE wrestler thats booked strongly and is basically the top of the division will want out. (I guess you could say Bryan has done that, but with Bryan being how he is - a wrestling nerd - its not quite the same)

I'm not so sure about Charlotte. WWE want her to break Ric's record so she keeps winning and losing the title till that happens. I can see her staying for that before wanting to go elsewhere

If they think she wants out they won't keep pushing her title numbers. We're most likely to see Cena pick up a world strap one more time to overtake Ric.

If they want a woman out front, it'll be someone who they bank as a WWE lifer.

Thats not how WWE works. When their big stars want out, thats when they push them and give them massive deals to keep them from going to the competition.

She's engaged to Andrade and her dad has just gone. She's been a fixture at the top of the card pretty much since she arrived on the main roster. They can't give her anything else other than more money, and even then she might decide she'd rather go elsewhere.

Did you see the A&E doc on Ric earlier in the year?

She was a proper ho at college and her and her brother just partied and stuff all the time.

After Reid died, she completely changed. She was never into wrestling until that moment.

Yeah, she went into wrestling due to Reid right? Still remember that shitty stuff with her and Paige regarding Reid. It was nonsense that did absolutely nothing.

Brock and Rock come to mind. Obviously not wanting to go to a different federation but still wanting out.

You can see how much Charlotte loves Andrade and wants to be with him. I can imagine she was pissed off that Andrade was released. Do we know how long she has left on her contract as I can see her breaking the record (although WWE removed her NXT reigns from her number recently so shes dropped by 3 title reigns)
I didnt realise shes 35, I honestly thought she was a few years younger than that.

They can give her the most title wins which is the current plan. 16-25 for Ric Flair depending on what is and isnt recognized, I think WWE just counts 16 or something. Charlotte is on like 13? So she'd need to win the title another few times to have that history in WWE continuity.

Money and history, then in a few years she can go wherever she wants as WWE's most decorated champion. No need to rush it while she can make history and huge money in WWE

WWE going to Saudi in October.

For some reason they are hosting the event on a Thursday & flying 18 hours back for the Live Smackdown on Friday.

Given how in a pre pandemic world they got stranded before, how they realistically expect to do this without issues, i don't know.

Them getting stranded led to one of the best Smackdown in ages when NXT took over.

Yeah true, but now i'd think they would struggle given the roster cuts.
And it wouldnt mean anything anyway, because nobody takes NXT seriously anymore. I still dont understand what is happening with Kross, because hes now won 2 and lost 2, (so hes shared wins and losses with Keith Lee and Hardy). And hes meant to be some dominant champion that is facing Joe, but the whole build of that means nothing now.
And hes been destroying everybody in NXT so it makes the rest of NXT look like jokes.

Did anyone watch Heels yet?

I saw it earlier and thought it was really good first episode.

This Punk thing is win/win for me. I like him, so I'd be delighted to see him in AEW, however it would be absolutely hilarious if he didn't show up after all this.

The 8/15 debut episode of "Heels" on STARZ garnered 128,000 overnight viewers.

Starz must be some really shit channel in USA

He's going to debut on the 5th November 2021.

Or 2005 of the Summer of Punk in ROH, 2011 was the Summer of Punk in WWE, and 2021 will be the Summer of Punk in AEW...probably more likely.

Yup This Friday!

Yeah didn't realize until today
Might watch it live

Looking forward to it
They've done a great job of hinting at it without revealing it.

It would be a disaster if he doesn't come out
It's a nice change from the norm. Definitely makes it more watchable live.

Given he's american, I'd go with the latter, as he'd have written it 11/05/21 otherwise.
