Has this transfer window been kermit's dream:

Out:

Hargreaves, gone
Gibson, brown, oshea next?
Berbatov?
Carrick?

In:
Young
De Gea
Jones
Nasri/AM?

I don't think his ticker can take much more in succession.

Maybe a few promotions from the reserves will calm the nerves.

We've signed three potential World beaters for less then Torres and the transfer window has'nt even opened so for anyone to be unhappy so far would be stupid.

This has been our most exciting summer since '07, probaly more exciting, and as a muppet I'm loving it.

I doubt the O'Shea/Gibson/Brown saga to Sunderland will happen.

Apparently, Gibson off to Everton and Brown also on his way with O'Shea staying put.

No chance, in a summer where we added Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves and Tevez to a side that already had Rooney, Ronaldo, Carrick, Scholes and Giggs (the latter 3 coming off the season they had in 06) that was immense!!

It's a wonderful window for us muppets. Now if we get Nasri... I will be hard for at least until January.

We've made some great signings and made Liverpool look like dickheads in the process. Great stuff so far.

I can live with that, never been so excited in the window since veron

Brown and Gibson for Rodwell, muppet boner alert.

Surely any player heading to Everton be it Brown, Gibson or Welbeck (loan) will include Rodwell coming to us? You couldn't make that up it would be so obvious...

I think the more exciting aspect of this summer is that rather then adding to an already powerful team we're creating a new side, its yet to be seen how we'll line-up next season and how we'll play which excites me, Ferguson is building a side to carry on from his fledging's and to usurp Barcelona while everyone else is investing to usurp us.

Nothing beats the excitement of 2001

Signing van Nistelrooy & Veron

I even got delighted when we signed Roy Carroll

That was good, but the players we're getting this will have bigger or more lasting effect on the team.

This!

Has been a success, yes - however, I can't help but think that we are in need for the Nasri/Modric/Sneijder type of player.

Change of tactics without adding one of the players mentioned above could also be on the cards. Exciting times ahead though.

Easy to say that in hindsight, at the time who knew Hargreaves would only play one season for the club, Tevez would only stay 2 seasons at the club and it would take Anderson so long to develop (people will argue if he has at all)

True but from a muppet's view I think the Tevez transfer saga beats them all..

No, the most muppetastic signing was Rooney. Especially as our internet access was down on August 31 and I had to keep checking the bloody teletext.

Modric and rodwell and we are done. Sneijders wage demands look to be excessive but nani will still more than likely move to serie a

Nasri instead of Modric would be more muppet-tastic tbh.

Rodwell for a reduced fee in part exchange for Everton getting Brown/Gibson on top would be even better.

Edit: The Rodwell bit I meant would make the overall dealings even better if it was an extra on top of another signing. Rodwell alone with no Modric/Nasri type signing would be a little disappointing, so says my inner transfer muppet.

If they could get a few more big twists form Sanchez and perhaps some Modric shenanigans going on, then yeh, probably is

I wonder how the caf would have reacted to 95
Shame we didn't have the internets and this place back then, I'd honestly like to know what they would have thought
