This muppet jibe is Facist

So let me get this straight. If you have an opinion of who YOU think should go or stay in the team, you are not a REAL supporter-you are a muppet?

So to be a REAL supporter, you have to agree with and always be happy with what is happening in the team.

"High and Mighty Blythy" hereby states that all muppets should leave his forum, cause he does not like anyone thinking or suggesting anything different to what SAF is doing.

This is a cunning form of Facism guys. If you do not agree with what someone is suggesting(even though nothing ever comes of it anyway), then reply and say so.
If you keep telling people to shut up, and calling people muppets (sly facism), and talking about how you cant wait till all these muppets go, then this place is going to end up full of Borg.

So even if you love United to death and always have done, if you write your opinions about how you think things could be made better, you are a muppet and not a real supporter, is that it?

And then to even go so far as to start going on about how the Caf is dying?
Get a fecking grip people.
Freedom of speech.

I totally disagree with you, just because you support a team, it dont mean you have to agree with everything that is going on, that would mean that whenever we went on a bad patch we would go and support someone else because we were unhappy. Having said that though, I have total faith in SAF, whatever he suggests, I support.

And you remain happy whatever the outcome right?, and dont dare to think anything needs changing right?

Well im sorry but i like to think for myself thank you.

As for whatever you were on about changing teams, you've lost me <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Anyway my main point is, do you hate whenever someone disagrees with you aussieredevil?
Would you start calling them muppets and for them to leave the forum, and for you to be left with only people who agree with you?

It was SAF himself who said he wanted to let the fans in to the dressing room after the city game.

MMMM, lets see, did he mean those who never question anything and think everything is alrite?
or the muppets? :D

I don't thik that anyone wants to stiffle debate but the recent flood of hysterical negativity has been very annoying. When there is such a flood of crap it is hard to distiguish genuine debate from gloryhunters gibberish. This does not facilitate debate.

It has calmed down a little bit but I can see where Blythy is coming from.

I used the term muppets for the first time (I think) after reading what people were saying about getting rid of half the team. Mainly because it's too soon to judge whilst we have so many influential players out.

I think criticism is fine, and there's plenty to criticise atm.

But this hysteria about selling 3/4 of the team goes beyond criticism.

We need to bring players in, not sell everyone over 26!

It's time to offload all the players who really aren't good enough to maintain a first team place, and if we really have to sell, then sorry Murt, but I would sell Seba, but I'd prefer not to.

So imo, the muppets are those who want to decimate the team and seem to have the idea that we can replace them with any player we choose.

At this particular moment, we should be able to criticise, but still support.

I support the club first. Teams/managers come and go and we get the ups and the downs but regardless of wether I'd love to see this player at the club or I'd love to see that player sold I still support "The Club". The thing is not to stifle debate or criticism (SAF calling a shareholder an idiot cos he didn't agree with him) If we get to the stage where nothing is ever wrong then I think we're in for a big fall. :(

most of the comments on here are ignorant wank, made by gloryhunters who've never been to Old Trafford and could name a starting player from the days before we started winning the premiership.

Yesssss! Spot on, pal. I totally agree with your opinion on this one. This forum needs BADLY the so-called "muppets". Death to the core, if that is what they need. Freedom of thought. We have other more suitable institutions for the lobotimized zombies.

Muppet ;)

If a poster does not like your comment, you are a muppet

If you win an argument with another poster they'll then say eg: "Define Rubbish"

If you say Veron is a useless twat you'll be asked to justify why

You are missing my point totally.
So we have different views on the team.
You are using a derogatory term to describe does with different opinions to yourself, and mighty said he cant wait till all these posters with different views leave. Do you not understand what im saying?
BTW "ein furher" himself is keeping very quiet on this one? I wonder why?

Goes to show the level of your intellegence to assume all those things about people you've never met. Just for the record, ive been in love with United since '85 and try and get over to OT as often(during the season) as work and family commitments permit.

So go feck yourself.

Ninja I apologise for totally cocking up on this one.

I don't have any problem at all with people criticising the team, or the manager - especially the manager, tho that seems unacceptable.

I just waded in after seeing that someone had suggested that 3/4 of the team should be sold - players who are expected to demonstrate loyalty to the team, but are obviously not worthy of the same loyalty. Especially as with the team so weakened, it seems unfair to make too harsh a judgement.

I didn't intend it for the majority of posters who though critical are a bit more rational.

I didn't give it enough thought, because I more or less agree with you anyway. I've always spoken out against those posters who refuse to allow any kind of criticism, but to see someone suggest that we should be getting rid of Becks, Giggs, Ole, Keane, Gary Neville etc. was, I thought, right out of order. So as I usually do, I waded in with my size 4s.

Good week for me really. Been called a racist and a facist.

Some prat in America called Antonio. Probably one of the 1 in 10 Americans who don't know where America is.

I mean - can you take seriously someone who calls me a racist for saying I don't want to see United full of foreign players (especially big name/money foreign players) - and then says if there weren't any foreigners in the PL, he wouldn't watch it.......
