although i know spurs never actually sign anyone they just "almost" sign players but if utd sit back and watch gudjohnsen (sp) a player who looks made for utd go for such a bargin (7mil odd) i will be a little pissed off... i know the board relesed alot of money of the last 2 seasons but surely some deals are too "GUD" ( ) to miss out on ???

I think most people know I am a big Gudjohnsen fan, and if we can get him for anything near 10m we should definately be interested.

can you see a) the board releasing the money needed eg 7-9 mil though, especially concidering the escude deal and possible keeper loaning
and/or b) the board/SAF reacting quick enough before the deadline and more importantly so too stop others getting him eg spurs.

to be honest i can't but if i'm really honest i feel Gudjohnsen will stay at chelsea anyway as they will sell JFH instead.
