Twatting fecking microsft piece of crap.

Right so I have just turned my 360 on to find I've been blessed with the 3 magical red lights. Happy Days. Anyhow I filled in the repair request subscription and now haven't got a clue what happens as their was a feck off big gray bar down the side of the xbox website that conveniently hid all the repair instructions. I imagine lots of you have been through this so can someone tell me exactly what I am supposed to do now? Also how long does the whole process usually take?

Phone Microsoft Xbox people and if its under three years old theyll fix it for you and improve the noisy dvd drive

Try taking it back to the shop you got it from Smashed

They might replace it

Well I've already booked a repair online, but I'm not entirely sure what booking a repair entails.

this is because I am better than you at the 360 isn't it?
Phone them instead, it was really easy for me and my housemate had the same problem. Just call and they pick it up, they fix it and they bring it back with a shiny new disc drive to boot. I would call just to clarify.

Doubt it I have had it for quite a while and don't even have the receipt.

How long did the whole repair take?

Why? What is there worth playing on it?

See I was really hoping you would say about a week..

Dont want to get into a PS3 V XBOX debate as they are both great. But i would say Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Singstar, Unreal Tournament, Resistance, Warhawk and Motorstorm are well worth playing.

He he he!

Sorry! This is a design flaw with the system. Use a towel.

Ask that question in about 8 months. Wait, no, you will not be asking it, you will own one.

Aye I probably will. I have been thinking of getting one for a while but I have decided to leave it until a few games that I would actually play are released.

A towel? What the feck am I supposed to do with a towel?

The wonders of modern day technology...

Has that ever actually worked for anyone here?

I wonder why I continuously post threads asking for help on this place. You would have though that after 4 years I really would know better.

I hope you all die horrible, horrible deaths.

they email you a label, you put your xbox in a box, (just the xbox, no hard drive or anything else), then you tape label to the box and phone UPS to arrange delivery, they wil pick it up the next day,

i sent mine off on about 10th December i think, i got it back on the 24th Dec
