I take racial jokes, jousting and stereotyping very well.

I actually laugh most of the time, and do my own bit admittedly.

But you claim to be great upholders of your own rules and regulations and a thread that talks about (even on the title only) about choosing to be either 'Black or a Cripple' is in bad taste IMO.
 
I've deleted while I read through it, the thread title certainly needs changing

If there's nothing too bad in there I'll just put it back when I'm finished

I posted in there but only to point out the spazziness of somebody. I thought the thread title was bad as well but apparently its from tv. Does this make it ok? I don't know. Has tv ever been wrong before? So much to consider.

Just read that thread. There's nothing racist about it or the title. As much as I appreciate the humour of the new title, but I'm afraid this was probably an over-reaction to take any action in the first place. Let's not get too carried away with the PC bit.

On an aside, Aussie56 looks a good prospect for promotion.
 
The fact the title caused someone to start a thread in here was evidence enough that it might offend some people.

I didn't see any harm in just changing it. It's not like anyone's been censored

Something always offends some people, Noods. The issue here is not the content but rather the intent. Aussie56 meant no harm.

No harm at all. The new title is funny. Didn't mean to imply there was censorship, merely pointing out that maybe, we need to let adults be adults and let something like this to be laughed off instead of being made an issue. God knows there's enough of that as it is.

I shouldn't have deleted it to begin with, to be fair. Just that I wasn't sure what it was all about until I had a quick look through it.

The lad obviously meant no harm, so there's no issue going to be made of it
 
I read it's beginnings last night, It seemed harmless to me...
 
Hey i guess ill make my first post as a member here and apologise to people who read and disliked the thread i made, also a cheers to Suresh for his promotion comment and SmashedHombre for his support...and fears of a riot which may have swayed in my favour.

Just to reiterate there was no malice in the thread at all and those who were offended my apologies. Lets leave the matter closed now :D
