no team has ever been succesful for ever and they never will, to support a club you have to take the bad times as well as the good times, things have been worse, a lot worse!

it was nearly thirty years ago when we were in the second division with no chance of playing in the european cup for years and years, today we sit in a 67000 stadium with some of the best players in the world, the most succesfull manager ever and still in the champions league.

if you want to support a team thats gonna be winning the league every year then you are going to have to change clubs a fecking lot before you die.
 
I think it is more frustration than anytyhing, you must admit u cant be happy with the performances. As you say we have some of the worlds greatest players, but they are not performing, this is whats getting on peoples tits. With the team we have all fully fit, we could walk the PL again and the EPL, but they just are not showing it at this time.
 
some think we have a right to win everything all the time

and some are just obsessed with certain players
 
nobody is happy with the performances at the moment (apart from every abu on the planet) but i think being a united fan we should be above just turning into a city fan, scouser, geordie etc and turn on the manager or the team, otherwise we would just be another club with a revolving door for the manager.
 
Some people seems to think that the only way to be the true supporter is not to critise the team when they are playing badly...

we are playing totally shite at the mo so I critise the team and tactics...That doesn`t mean I am a glory hunter or so called lesser supporter...

Sure we were in 2nd division and Fergie won soo much for us... I'd rather we win with the players we got than hanging on to the past glories like the Scousers..
 
I don't care. The more bad times, the better the good times will be.

im not hanging on to past glories im backing the team 100% thats all we can do, i cant buy new players i cant change the tactics and i cant change who i support

the only way for me is to get behind them itll taste sweeter when it comes good again my friend

Exactly... They should have been around in the 70's and 80's..... Which even though far less uccessful were highly enjoyable especially travelling away.
It is obvious that we have to go through rough patches it's just that the prawn munchers expect win win win.. Every team has to go through transitional periods.
Some of the people I sit next to at O/T make me laugh .. Gone are the days when the crowd were all real supporters roaring the team on through good and through bad.
BRING BACK THE REAL STRETFORD END..We used to suck goals into the net
