I just watched the first two episodes, like it so far. It's very whimsical and reminiscent of Paolo Sorrentino's film work.

It's already been renewed for a second season.

Does it end with him skydiving from a helicopter? If not, Angels & Demons ftw.

Just started watching, should the Italian speaking parts have subtitles?

Hm ok. So how many episodes were alraedy broadcasted? I cant find much. Is this on a weekly basis or can i download all at once?

I like the look of it.

Think I missed a lot without the subtitles.
I think there's three Italian scenes in the first episode, in the first he's talking about having impure thoughts about the Venus of Willendorf, the second he's saying that someone's writing the 18th book about him + some general questioning of the pope's behaviour, and in the last scene he's telling the other guy to dig up some dirt on the pope.

Nice thanks.

Like this a lot so far, Sorrentino as feck. That opening scene with the babies was... interesting.

I've only seen the pilot episode, but I thought it was fantastic. Great dialogue and cinematography and weirdness, as per usual with Sorrentino.

Does it have copious amounts of nudity?

Good for you, I don't.

Well Im fecked in a different way. The one who plays the part of cardinal Voiello is a seasoned Italian comedian. I find it difficult to take what he says seriously. It would be like putting Rowan Atkinson as Adolf Hitler

I watched the first episode. Quite slow to get going, but the ending sets things up nicely.

Do anyone know where they shot it?

@R.N7 thanks. It was obvious that it wasn't in Vatican but they put some fantastic work in recreating the scenes!

How are you guys watching this? It's an HBO show and doesn't premiere over here until January 15th 2017.

Of course she's going to get undressed, she's in the TV show. I have a colleague who looks a lot like her. Very relevant to the discussion here I feel.
I can now confirm that she did get undressed, sort of. Also, Cecile de France looks pretty good in this, I think I've seen her in a few things but she's never appealed to me before now, she's got a goofy milfness to her.

Surprised to see Jude Law as actor and producer of a tv show. It's a tad slow but I like it so far.

Where can I get a pope hoodie? Looks super comfy. :p

It's genuinely amazing  Can't remember anything like it on TV

It's great to see a director given the freewheeling control to put his own personal touch on a series like this, it's basically one long extended Sorrentino film.
