2 Episodes every friday starting now :D Really loved it back then.
And the friday nights just get better. Twin Peaks reruns after the X-Files

Probably my favorite show of all time.

I have all 9 seasons on DVD and usually re watch them all once a year.

Looking forward to the new movie too :D

So it looks like the new movie has bombed at the box office then.

Only took $10 million on its opening weekend in the US.

The Dark Knight is still dominating the theaters

Reviews for the new movie are pretty bad. It bombed at the BO as well, just pulling in 10M the first weekend. I used to be a HUGE fan of the series, so its dissapointing that this should happen. I guess this is it for the X-files now .. no more movies. Damn Chris Carter, he should have made the movies 10-15 years ago, when it was the best show on the telly.

Completely agree, that said even when the show was top drawer, it's concept doesnt exactly lend itself to a film in concept at least

It used to be a quality programme, especially in the early years. I loved the Eugene Toombes episodes.

My bet is that X Files is better than the reviews and that the Batman film is worse than the reviews (even if it is great).

The Batman reviews are pretty much spot on

I doubt it very much.

I'm sure that I will thoroughly enjoy it but no film of its type could be that good. The first one was pretty good but nowhere near as good as people make out.

Great back in the days but people have moved on.Maybe still appeal to the die hard X Files fan.

fecking great series, I've just finished the first three seasons after only just seeing one episode pre-october.

Is the series just as entertaining even when David Duchovny leaves?

God was the second X-Files move a total piece of shit

I have watched episodes from here and there on tv, back in my childhood. But never was able to keep up. Anyway now I have started watching from first season onward.

since Mulder is not the main character in the last two seasons, should I stop there? I did so with CSI when Grissom left the show.

I got them last year and watched it
Stopped midway through season 8 tho. Partly because Mulder was gone (temporarily) and partly because it got way too confusing/silly for me. Wasnt worth the effort

Maybe it was because I watched the 7 seasons in about 2 months and couldnt take it any more

One of my favourite shows. I bought the Collectors Edition of each season about a year ago. Love going through phases of watching it or just sticking an episode on at night :D
