'A collection of the worst football kits ever inflicted on long-suffering fans...'

Room 101 - Rubbish Football Kits

Villa had one similar to it.

Which reminds me:

Hmm why does it not look as bad as I remember it ? It's that fecking 90's stuff being far away from us now that it starts looking alright. Happened with the 80's last decade.

Early MLS kits were some eye-gougingly hideous efforts.

This is the Dallas Burn:

Yes, that's a horse breathing, or possibly snorting, fire. No, I don't know why.

The Tampa Bay Mutiny:

Because let's go with a pirate-sounding name and then put it on the shirt in a cyber-font. That makes fecking sense.

San Jose Clash:

Before this, they had some even uglier shirts. I couldn't find an example of the shirt laid flat, suggesting that MLS has tried to burn every picture in existence, but here's an example:

The Kansas City Wiz (that was their name before they became the Kansas City Wizards, and later Sporting KC. One year in the playoffs they played the Dallas Burn, leading to the unfortunately-named Wiz-Burn series):

The current LA Galaxy kits are actually pretty class, I think:

The original kits...not so much:

Just doesn't look like a football kit to me, mind you I'm not sure what else it could be. Plus that's Giggsy in full flight, and he'd make anything look good....

Almost every goalie kit produced in the mid-1990s was a car crash in design. This Celtic outfield top looks like it was cut from the same cloth:

VfL Bochum - back in the late 90s. Apparently, its first type had all kinds of colours on its left side too, but Bochum intervened and asked for it to be changed so they left one side white.

Ironically, that website would easily get into the top 10 of worst web designs ever.

It's got great content though, all that matters ;-)
