So no goals from open play with defensive wing-backs. I know we're short for #10s, but there are others we can use besides Amad. Amad has looked great at RWB and keeps the opposition vary, while fielding two defensive options that provide nothing in an attacking sense makes us so easy to hold off. Dalot gets plenty of space, I wonder if that could be because he always comes back onto his right foot and circulates the ball backwards.
I am starting to think Amass needs to be given a chance here. Or Antony at LWB. And Amad should have that RWB position locked down. Mazraoui has been excellent in the back three. Dalot, I don't know. Could be cover for Amad.
We just can't be going into matches with 5 defenders and very little pace in that backline as well. I bet opposition teams love seeing those defensive lineups.
