Any chance of putting in place a list of suitable sources, or a blacklist of unsuitable sources? I know of a few other forums that do a similar thing.

It's been ridiculous over the past week, with articles being posted that are an embarassment to sports journalism. The likes of The Sun and the Star are now so bad they're no different to the Rumour Mill website. It's literally a case of the 'journalists' coming up with a story in their heads, writing the article and slapping the line 'a source close to the player' into it.

And we're not even into the transfer window yet!

If people weren't allowed to post rubbish transfer stories, then there would only be 2 threads in the forum each year.

Open the thread, see the source is The Sun, close thread.
Simple.

That is the purpose of the transfer forum. Keep the worst of the muppetry in one place.

Do you want to create a list ?

The problem you will run into is that sites like Soccernet often sensationally amplify stories from other rags for their own visitors.
