The Tokyo Game Show (TGS)

Anyway, don't want to take this off-point.

I'm hoping for some footage of Ninja Gaiden 2 on 360. Can't wait to see the Square Enix line-up.

Wouldn't mind seeing MGS 4 either and how that looks. Last time they ran it off the PS3 and called it 'In Game' when it was actually entirely CGI the lying cnuts. Hopefully, they won't try and pull the same trick.

Of course some reviews on Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 should be great.

Have you got info that it was CGI? You calling it CGI and them calling it "In Game" (when it meant cut scene - in engine it might very well have been) are both as suspicious as each other, but we'll see.

Is this not in game?

Yep, I'll go find the sources later. They called it 'in-game' like they have done with several games, such as both Killzone 1+2 and then it was later proven they weren't in-game at all. In the cases of Killzone, they even retracted their statement and apologized.

Alright, which 360 games should we look out for?

So far:

Halo 3
GTA
Call of Duty
Res Evil 5

Anymore?

Yeah, they look good. Although, I've not seen anything of Lost yet.

Has The Orange Box been reviewed yet? Also Soul Edge/Calibur looks sexy.

Kane & Lynch also looks pretty tastey as well. Orange Box hasn't been reviewed yet I don't believe. I think there is a video on the Marketplace though.

MGS4 is not going on the XB360.
MGS4 may not be but Metal Gear Online maybe. MGS4 is covered by an exclusivity contract between Konami and Sony, however Konami are releasing MGO which has no contract and Konami and are so free to release it on platform.

I never said different. The pre-TGS Konami conference was on earlier today. They talked about it as well as MGS Mobile.

Any news on Final Fantasy XIII?

General consensus here in Asia is that this one game will save PS3...

I don't think that it's a matter of one single title. You'd have to look up the stats, but MGS and GT5 will do more than FF. Those three are all serious system shifters. There again, the Playstation brand itself was though to be a system shifter no matter what they put out.

If history does tell that a major feckup has been made, it will be put down to waiting that extra year for the Blu-ray situation to be sorted out, and that possibly Sony was trying to kill too many birds with the same stone.

People go on about the PS3 selling badly. It's not really on a worldwide basis, especially considering its price point. You can take Wii out of the equation.

Actually I think in a few years time people will realise Sony pulled off a masterstroke. PS3 is supposedly selling badly, but nowhere near as bad as people make out, also as you pointed out, Wii is a lot cheaper and targeting kids.

By pushing out the PS3 so soon, Sony has really put Blu-ray well ahead of HD DVD in terms of market share for the next generation video system and in the long run, they would really reap the benefit.
