Which as plainly seen on the field in the number of risky passes and moves and the fancy flicks and back-heels that some of the players tried to pull off.

We didn't do any of that sort of thing against Deportivo and Chelsea - we kept things tight and refused to yield space and time to the opposition.

Let this be a lesson learnt to all the players and Fergie - we certainly will and must be on our toes next Tuesday.

And stop playing Solksjaer and Veron on the wings - it doesn't work especially Veron.

Agreed.

I kept wondering why Ole and Giggs weren't swapped round in the second half when it wasn't working out as planned.

I still thought that we had the best chances throughout the game. We are dangerous on the break, and should have scored 2 more goals from the chances we had.

I totally agree !

I think though you have to put your hands up and say that Bayer were brilliant. Their tactics were spot on on the night and they probably deserved to win.

They reminded me of a heavyweight boxer who got up after a second heavy knockdown and won the game on points.

They attacked us like no other team has this season and showed far more hunger than United did. It will be hard to match them next week if they continue on from that performance. However if 90 minutes from the CL Final can't spur you on then nothing can.

Keano will make a difference I'm sure. If United do go on to win the tie, I really hope he's not yellow carded.

Come on UNITED!!!!

It will be tough because the BayArena is really compact, sort of like HighBury. It will take a lot heart but we can do it, lets get back to the basics, and drop Veron. We are better with Scholes,Butt,Keane, and Giggs.

Yeah....thought we'd play the 4-4-2 first leg cos that's out best formation at home.....v.disappointed about the way they ran the midfield.....Veron is not helping himself! I think it's time Fergie swallowed some pride.....

That is what I'm affraid of. Keano is the type of person that will perform with all his heart and passion. No matter that he is one card away from suspension, he will play as usual as he is.

And if it is the price for reaching the final, he will take it. Oh god... bless Keano, i really want to see him in the final.
