L'pool draw at New.United
and of course Man Utd beat S'land

Team Played Pts
1.Arsenal 22 42
2.Chelsea 22 41
3.Man Utd 22 41
4.L'Pool 22 37
5.Everton 22 36
6.New United21 33

Well this table would spice up the EPL....and I would put my money on us to win it....let'z hope these results go as I've planned

A little dissapointed we lost two away games to Blackburn and Boro. Arsenal was damn good of luck to keep the gap between us.

Losing the 2 games away to Blackburn and Middlesbrough hurt us badly, as we lost the ground that we made up on Arsenal. However, there is still 16 games to go. Cliche, but the title is not decided at christmas and it was vital to grab that winner by Scholesy today against Sunderland.

Arsenal didn't play particularly well over the christmas period, but were able to get a draw against Liverpool and wins against Chelsea and a scrappy away win over WBA.

Chelsea let slip their run over christmas with the home draw to Southampton then the defeats away to Leeds and Arsenal.

Newcastle are 3 points behind us with a game in hand. Had a 1-0 win over Liverpool, plus that win over Tottenham.

Its becomming a 3 horse race. Dippers are out of it after losing to the Barcodes.
Not sure if Chelsea have the squad to keep it going.
Arse are definately in pole position but there is still a long way to go and both us and the Arse will drops point somewhere.
The Arse have got to unfilled later this month and we still have to go to Highbury

Barcodes are still in it. Win their game in hand and they're level with us. I think Elizabeth pointed it out.

Mathematically they are, but their defence is shocking. (apart from Andy O'Brian) They'll concede too many goals to be realistic challengers by April/May.

its a two horse race!

the only teams capable of going on a 10 game winning run and have done so before to win the league are arsenal and united.

chelsea seem to be having problems again a bit of internal bickering

newcastle would and will probably settle for a champions league spot

and liverpool dont make me laugh

It's going to very interesting if they get Jaap Stam and/or Woodgate.

probably the wrong time to buy a centre half, we know to our costs how long it usually takes to settle in ala pallister, stam and more due to injuries and not kicking veron out of the way on wednesday rio.
