Ok this is the thread where we spoil it for everyone, so dont continue reading if you dont want to know!

Nice ending, didnt see that coming. Only problem I would have with it if it was the actual ending forever. Something else needs to pop up.

I was very upset when Chris died. Didnt realise Tony and him had grown that far apart, thought it was just a annoyance. Loved it when it was kicking off with New York. Reminded me of the first season, when Junior tried to pop Tony.

Having seen the ending a few times, I am now quite sure that Christopher was the real rat. First, the night he died when he and Tony met with Phil, he was wearing a hat, which I cant remember him doing much in the series and especially at no 'meets'. This harkens back to Dick Maserone from earlier in the series wearing a hat to wear to record coversations with Tony once he was flipped.

Then there is the last episode and the cat, which some people think is Chris himself others Adriana, me I doubt either, I think that it is just a cat, but it serves a very important purpose. The cat stares at Chris picture on the wall the whole episode, its unmistakable CHris was the real rat.

Quote: Tony (reassuring Paulie about the cat) "Don't worry about it, a rat probably died behind the wall or something.

Paulie: "T but we moved it to a different wall, and the cats still stares at it.

Why because Moltisanti was a rat

Also in the season 6b trailer, there is a scene of Chris getting tailed by the Feds that never appears in any episode

Interesting side note, and another reason why I love Tony, he used the word 'motherfecker' in every episode of the series, now that's Jersey

Thats a good theory...quite upsetting though.

Yeah, but he did talk about all the time, and was a volatile drug addict, so you could never put it past hi,. I agree with you it was quite sad to see Chris' fall in the series from such a star that he was essentially Tony's number two by the fourth season until he ruined it with his addictions, the Adriana situation, Cleaver, and then finally driving his car off the road and telling T he wouldnt pass a durg test. Michael Imperioli played this tragic character incredibly well
