The Sims for Mac - help please!

Basically, whilst on my internet searchings the other day, I bought the original Sims game, for nostalgic purposes, I remember playing it for hours on end when I was younger, and for £4 on ebay I though why not.

But, there is a problem.

It says I need a classic environment to install it. Why...??!!! I have had a look and apparently there is a download to sort it out, or at least stop me from having to revert my computer back to classic environment...

Anyone have any ideas?

one that works is nowhere to be found.

when I do download one it says that it is not compatible with the expander. And when I have tried a seperate expander, and try to add either item, it says that it will not work as classic environment.
