Absolute purest gold.

Every single line is a ripper!

I guess this is the one where Bart rings up that guy in Australia to see if the water drains in a different direction?

It is a class episode

Australian man: You call that a knife? This is a knife!
Bart: That's not a knife. That's a spoon.
Australian man: Alright, alright, you win. Heh. I see you've played knifey-spooney before.

I don't quite get that beer/coffee bit when Marge was ordering.

The Member of Parliament to Prime Minister scene is monumental.

When will you Australians learn? In America, we stopped using corporal punishment, and things have never been better. The streets are safe. Old people strut confidently in the darkest alleys. And the weak and nerdy are admired for their computer-programming abilities. So, like us, let your children run wild and free! Because, as the old saying goes, "let your children run wild and free".

That bit in bold always cracks me up. The way he says it is just perfect.

Just as I read this it came on.

First Government official - ‘The prime minister just wants to kick you once, through the gate, with a regular shoe.’

Second Government official - ‘I believe it’s a wingtip.’

:lol: In context this was hilarious.

Was just on ch10, though it's finished now.

Has to be the second best simpsons episode ever, to the cat burglar one.

One of the best episodes ever :

Lisa: Bart, water will only go the other way in the Southern Hemisphere.
Bart: What the hell is the Southern Hemisphere?
Lisa: Haven't you ever looked at your globe? (tears off wrapping paper on a gift with a tag reading "Happy Birthday! Love Grampa" on it). See, the Southern Hemisphere is made up of everything below the equ... (looks at Bart, who is staring blankly) ...this line.
Bart: So say in Argentina, and Rand McNally (pointing at Rand McNally logo on globe), all their water goes backwards?
Lisa: Uh-huh. (rolling her eyes) In fact, in Rand McNally, people wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people.
Bart: (impressed) Cool!

Every single line in the episode is gold.

Next, Bart dials a palatial-looking building in a jungle.

Aide: Please to repeat again and I will translating for the el presidente.

Bart: [slowly] Which way does the water turn in your toilet?

Aide: [in Spanish] He says the tide is turning!

Presidente: Ay, caramba! Then the rebels will soon take the capital. I must flee! [dives out window]

Homer: Burkina Faso? Disputed Zone? Who called all these weird places?

Brain: Quiet, it might be you! I can't remember.

Homer: [thinks a moment] Naw, I'm going to ask Marge.

Brain: No, no! Why embarrass us both? Just write a check and I'll release some more endorphins.

[Homer scribbles a check, then sighs with pleasure]

:lol::lol:

And possibly THE best moment in Simpsons history:

- this happens just after Bart gives Bruno the run-around in a phone call. You also have to imagine this was all said in an extremely exaggerated Australian accent.

Bruno Drundrage: Ooh! Ah, that's it. I'm going to report this to me member of parliament.

[Walks over to his window, looking out to see this man in a pig stye]

[yells out window] Hey, Gus! I got something to report to ya.

[Gus tends his swine]

Gus: That's a bloody outrage, it is! I wana take this all the way to the Prime Minister!

[they walk over a hill, down to a lake]

Hey!… Mr. Prime Minister!..... Andy!

Andy: [floating naked on an inner tube with a beer] Eh, mates! What's the good word?

:lol::lol: This part really had me cracking

 How did they come up with this stuff? It's just too brilliant.

Aye that is an all time favourite episode. I love it when the Simpsons go all cultural. The one when they visit England is another great, the bit wher ethey have Tony Blair with a jet pack personally greeting all new visitors to England is genius.
