Good or bad?

Watched the first one for the first time a few nights ago. Was pleasantly surprised. Thought it was a lot better than slashers/horrors made today. But i like saw so i could be very wrong.

Currently watching the second one.

I find the first two (and third I guess) good enough to watch if they playing, but I wouldn't choose to put them on.

A great series for me, maybe not the third, but it was a complete breath of fresh air in the world of horror, which was beyond awful at the time. Though they have been ruined by the likes of Scary Movies......which missed the point by spoofing a movie that is already a spoof movie. Not sure how they'll translate as well to first time viewers now though.

I watched the most recent one, and it was almost nostalgic, but come across as pretty dated and should have stayed in the late 90s/early 00s.

The first one was good at the time. The others were needless and progressively worse (not seen 4).

Seriously, the whole point of the first one was to play with the conventions and rules of the genre then they go and piss it all away by making 3 more.

The scene in the first one with Drew Barrymore was fantastic. Wouldn't say I'm particularly keen on 2 or 3 and I've not seen the new one.

First one is the best, the opening scene with Drew Barrymore still scares the crap out of me, geniunely creepy.

Second one is very good, third one was good but a bit comical at times. What I liked about the third one is how it knit everything together. It took you back to even before the first movie and revealed things that you didn't even know. The fourth one was just alright, a bit meh.

Just watched the 3rd. Overall it was poor, but i did not see that ending coming. Liked the twist.

First was the best. But the other two was decent enough.

I wont be downloading the 4th tomorrow and i wont be watching it.

Scream 4 was definitely poor. But the twist was one of the best in the series.

Didn't think 4 was too bad. Reminded me a lot of 1 actually. The thing about these movies is that they keep you guessing as to who's the killer(s) at the end. You wonder whether it's the obvious ones, or someone you didn't expect. What irritated me throughout 4 however was product placement (stupid as that might sound).
