BBC fly on-the-wall documentary which started tonight set in a housing scheme in some scottish shithole. The casual nature of the drug and alcohol abuse and violence is quite shocking. It's like Rab C Nesbitt, but without the comedy. Catch it on iplayer (probably). feckin bonkers.

not far from where i grew up. Thankfully i grew up in a nice place (by comparison to the scheme most places are although these types of areas and even far worse exist in scotland).

A similar show started last week on BBC1 NI, called The Estate. Set in a shithole on the outskirts of Coleraine, it follows the lives of some of the residents over the course of a year. Expect less drug abuse than The Scheme, but more sectarianism.
