Watching it all over again, forgot what a brilliant written show that was. Also hard to believe Jessica Hynes who played Cheyrl was from London she did really well with that accent!

I've always liked Jim's line about Chris Evans being 'like shit in a field' because he was everywhere on telly. I use that a lot and my missus is still mystified by it.

A lot of my relatives and family can't really laugh about it because it's depressingly close to home at times.

I never watched it properly but when I did there were always some great lines in it. The recent special where they were talking about Terry Waite:

Barbara: "...Is it Terry Waite?"
Jim: "Terry Waite was that poor sod held captive for five years tied to a radiator!"
Barbara: "Well at least he was warm."...
Dave: "You know Jim, at times like this I can't help thinking about Terry Waite chained to the radiator."

Dave: "Makes you realise how lucky we are."
