I just discovered this guy few years back. His football story and career was like Jamie Vardy. Like a story of a charming Italian Fiat.
He was starting like Vardy, playing for clubs in lower league.

Jamie Vardy football career:

2010 -2011 Halifax, non league - 37 Matches - 26 goals
2011 -2012 Fleetwood Town, Conference premier club at that time - 36 Matches - 31 goals
2012 - Signed for a Championship club....Then rest of the his story we all.....He became premier leauge champion with Leicester

Federico Gatti Football career :

2018 - 2020 Verbania. 5 th league. Serie D/A - 51 matches - 6 goals
2020 - 2021 Pro Patria. Serie C. 34 matches - 1 goal
2021 - 2022 Frosinone. Serie B - 18 matches - 3 goals
Summer 2022 - Juventus Serie - 72 matches - 5 goals
Season 2024/25 = A Champion league level CB

For Italy
2022 - He has 5 matches

In other words. He didn't join Juventus. A top club before he was around 24 years of age. And now he has became a regular CB for Juventus. A Champion league level and a top 5 level CB. And belong as one of the best CB in Italy.

Now i will describe a bit about his description as a CB and player. But first about his profile:

Date of birth : 24 June 1998, 26 years of age.
Height : 1, 92 m
Prefer foot : Right

+ His description :
Like above. Gatti is a big, robust and solid CB. Like most of those big, tall and robust CB. They are not super quick and explosive in the first metres. When they have come up to the top speed. Gatti is fast over long distance. When he has first come up to the top speed.
A CB full of passion, guts, energy, engine, determination, braveness and with a dominance presence.
He is using to run with the ball forward. If he has a free open way ahead of him = attacking minded.
Good in the air. Because of his braveness and his willing to reach the ball first.

Good enough on the ball to be a big and tall CB.

His offensive stats with the ball :
Serie A : 21 matches 1841 minutes. Avg Passes : 55. Succesful Passes : 95.5 %
Champion league: 7 matches 681 matches. AvgP : 63.3 SuccP : 94.5 %

In other words. As a big, tall and robust CB. He is more than good enough with the ball as his feets. Spreading the passes around. Really precise.

+ His current football level and rating:

I don't think he has a lot more to improve as CB and football player. As a football player you can always become more precise with the ball and do lesser mistake. But the basic balll skills. As a CB. I don't there are not a lot to improve.

Gatti definitely belong to a level i rate as "Very good". The level right under the top and world class level.
But if the future. If he won the Scudetto/Serie A, Euro or Champion league. A dominating CB on the biggest stage. Then he might reach the top level.
Right now. He is definitely a Champion league and top4/5 in the league CB. Juventus 12 points Napoli in the league. And Juventus back in the champion league.
So both as invidual and collective as a team. Him and Juventus, could reach a higher level. But again, not much.

Sum up. A football story like a story of a charming Italian Fiat. Full of passion, determination and energy on the pitch. A story like Jamie Vardy. Starting in a lower league, a unknown football player. Climbing the league system. Were fascinating stories for me.

And if Gatti win Serie A like Vardy winning premier league. Then this charming and different football story will become great football story.
