I have been scouting and following him the last 2 seasons. And i did recommend him to United before United went for Rasmus Højlund. In a group of upcoming and promising CF like Evan Ferguson.

He recently joined Ac Milan for 32 mill euros. Which i seem is a bargain and a really good deal and business from Ac Milan.
For that price. You will not get a more conistent and sharp CF than Gimenez.

Compare to others CFs transfer price :

Rasmus Højlund to Manchester United for : 73.90 mill euros
Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United for: 42.50 mill euros

Santiago Gimenez to AC Milan for : 32 mill euros

After he has been really consistent sharp and clinical in front of goals in the last 2 seasons:

His stats for Feyenoord before he joined AC Milan in this january transfer window :

Feyenoord season 22/23, leauge : 32 matches and 1927 minutes : 15 goals and 2 assist
Europa league season 22/23 : 9 matches and 432 minutes : 5 goals

Season 23/24, league : 30 matches and 2384 minutes : 23 goals 6 assist
Champion league 23/24: 4 matches and 348 minutes : 2 goals and 1 assist

Season 24/24, league: 11 matches and 770 minutes: 7 goals and 1 assist
Champion league 24/25: 5 matches 5 goals and 1 assist

The stats are showing that he nearly and has average over 1 goals in each 2 matches.

Now, let us take a closer look of him as CF:

Date of birth : 18.April, 2001 (23)
Height : 182 cm
Prefer foot : Left

Description by words :

Like i said above. He is really sharp and clinical infront of goals. Overall really good link up play.
A natural goalscorer. His best attribute and quality. He has a knack for goals
Really consistent.
He is not a super quick CF like Victor Osihmen. But in somehow, he just consistently score many goals each season. So if he could improve and become a bit quicker and more explosive in the first metres. He would become more dangerous and harder to handle.

Now, he has joined a better club and in a bigger league than Feyernoord and The Dutch league. And if he reach and rise to the top level of a CF. Then his market value could rise to 50-60 mill euros.
Ac Milan is currently 8 th in the league and he does got good teammates and service. They just draw against Inter 1-1 in theirs last league match.
So if he keeps continue to score around 15-20 goals for Ac Milan, average 1 goal each 2 matches. His market value will rise and become really attractive for the biggest clubs in Europe, which is his last step in his career.

My rating of Gimenez :

Right now i rate him in group of CFs behind the clear top and world class group and level. Which are:

+ Top level of CF:
Haaland, Lewandoski, Victor Osimhen and Kane

+ Second best level, right under the top level :
Santiago Gimenez, Viktor Gyokeres, Patrick Schick, Victor Boniface, Dusan Vlahovic

What Santiago Gimenez is lacking for me. It's the top speed and explosive that Victor Osimhen is having. If he only has that top speed in the first metres. I think he could be up there with the best. He might could improve it over the next few years. For me, that is what is he lacking.
But when it comes to sharpness and clinical. He is up there or not far from the top and world class level.
The boy is a natural goalscorer.

Future prediction :

If he keeps improving and keep his goalscoring rate like this. In the last 2-3 years. I think he will keep rising and his football journey will not end with Ac Milan.
Like if he keeps scoring 15-20 goals each season for Ac Milan. In the next 2 seasons. I think bigger and biggest club in Europe will come for him. I think they are and will keep eyes on him.

And like in beginning. 32 mill euros for Santiago Gimenez is bargain and will turn out to become a good deal of business for Ac Milan. A natural goalscorer, keep being really consistent in the next 2-3 years. I think the lowest market of him would be 50 mill euros.
Because one of the consistent and sharpest CF in Europe. Will not go under 50 mill euros. From AC Milan to a bigger club.
If he has contract left. It will be profit for AC Milan.

I recommend him for United 1 1-2 season ago. After joining Ac Milan from Feyernoord. Many big clubs will keep eyes on him. And he his football career will still rise.

He is massively overrated in my opinion.. He has periods of draughts without goals and in these periods he becomes less than useless, contributing absolutely nothing to the team... And he isnt clinical enough to get away with that..

Milan has turned into a bit of a graveyard for strikers looking to step up a level, like Piatek, Silva, Kalinic. Gimenez would be doing well to break that streak especially when the players around him are struggling to begin with.

While we're hyping slightly random strikers, I did not have Ekitike developing into a footballer on my Earth 01 bingo card:

(I have scouted this player for exactly no seasons, but I did watch him slowly sap MNM's collective will to live across a year or so at PSG.)

Not sure I've ever even heard about Gimenez prior to this thread, but he does seem to take his goals well, for however much that's worth.

Four goals in thirty-two appearances for Mexico looks fairly sus, though:
