Ruud ftw
Everton beat Liverpool 1-0 tonight, so United are champions of the Reserve League North

Haha, I just checked on here on the of chance someone knew that score - and you had posted it 1minute earlier.

Congrats to the reserves and of course our Ole. Top stuff.

Great Stuff.
Congrats to Ole, hopefully the first of many trophies that he wins for us as a manager

So a chance to win the overall Reserves title, should be a cracking game. Aston Villa have a mean team at this level though - this is their 3rd consecutive Southern title.

Do we actually get a trophy for winning the Northern league? Or just one overall, North and South?

Great news, well done to the Reserves!

Anyone know when the national Reserve championship playoff match will be? Or where it will take place? I think I remember reading that Aston Villa are the champions of the South, may have that completely wrong though.

Really well done. Considering a lot of the U18s stepped up quite regularly due to injuries/loans/international duties with some of the reserve level players.

Well played lads, congrats OGS.

When's the open top bus parade? the City owes us one if I'm not mistaken!

Brilliant, well chuffed about it. Well done Ole. Now for the first team to do the same.

Anyways hoping they'd win the play off against Villa.

Well done, Ole & Co. Winning is an important part of the learning curve.

Yeah well done to Ole and the lads, some great football played this year and lots of gritty performances. Fully deserved.

Reserves need your support

28/04/2010 13:31, Report by Stephen Powell

Old Trafford will stage a prestigious play-off final on Monday 3 May when United Reserves - the new champions of Barclays Premier Reserve League North - take on Aston Villa, southern section winners for the third year in a row.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side clinched the regional title last week, when nearest challengers Liverpool lost 1-0 to Everton. The Reds will now go for the national crown and United fans are urged to turn up on Bank Holiday Monday and support Ole's boys against the Villans.

Entry is free to Season Ticket holders and One United Members (on producing a current Access Card / Membership Card) and also all under-16s and over-65s.

All other adults (ie general public) can pay £5 at the turnstiles prior to kick-off.
